Happy New Year to you!

Well 2018 is over and I look forward to another year of wedding dress-making and designing!

Huge congratulations if you got engaged over the festive season! Exciting times ahead for you!

What will you choose to wear for your big day? What have you always wanted to wear? Something soft and flowing? A huge ballgown style? Tailored and sophisticated? Trousers? Lots of feminine lace and twinkles? I can help by creating the dress or outfit of your dreams!

If you are now a bride to be, or a mother of the bride or groom and are thinking of having a custom wedding dress or outfit made for your special day or event, you are in the right place. I offer an award winning bridal design and wedding dressmaking service, and I recently won my category of Dressmaker and Designer for the 3rd time in the Four Counties Wedding Awards.

Looking back, I now have nearly 19 years of experience making bespoke bridal gowns and have probably made close on 1000 dresses or outfits for my brides and their guests – phew! I still enjoy it as much as ever – more in fact, as I have become more experienced.

Having a bespoke dress made is a brilliant experience. You can let your imagination run wild and have whatever you like designed and created (as long as it’s achievable), or you can embrace your classic self and stick to a more traditional look. Whatever works for you is how I like to approach your design. I am there to advise and guide you towards a look that will work perfectly for you, no matter how simple or elaborate, and to create the end design to fit you perfectly and feel fantastic.

Last year I wrote a post about the benefits of choosing a bespoke designed, custom made wedding dress, which many brides found useful when considering a bespoke wedding dress or outfit.

I specialise in bespoke wedding dresses, but I also have a small range of wedding dresses available in my studio for bride to view and order as in a shop – the difference being that I am making the dress for you as a made to measure item, and you, the bride, have the choice to adapt the design if you wish. Perhaps you might want a different fabric or lace, or to change the colour or neckline? If it works for the design, I am happy to adapt the design to suit you and your taste.

If you’d like to find out more about my service, have a look at my website or read through this blog. If you’d like to make an appointment to see me, you can email me or message me through social media. I really look forward to hearing from you and discussing ideas together!

Xx
